In 1980, after graduating from the two year program at Hennepin Technical College, I started assisting with a seasoned food photographer that had partnered up with two other advertising professionals. They formed Creative Resource Center and my time there was invaluable. After three years the photographer, Glenn Peterson, went off on his own and asked me to come with him to assist and to manage his new studio.
From there I heard of an up and coming advertising agency that was looking to develop their own photography studio. I applied, and out of about 100 people, was chosen to head up and be their photographer. This was an opportunity of a lifetime. I soon had expanded the studio and was producing all the work to keep 10 art directors and all their staff busy. The amount and diversity of photography was staggering and exciting! From shooting a live black panther to hundreds of Post it products it was truly unimaginable. I gained more experience in almost every type of product photography than any other photographer in the state.
In 1996 I started to experiment with the first digital high end photo systems on the market. I soon found that this was the way to go into the future and I had developed the skill set that others could only dream of. In 2004 I set out on my own and the move was rewarding.
Let me bring my expertise and experience forward to assist you in your photographic needs. There really is nothing I can’t help you with to make your project an overwhelming success.
